Why battle submissions matter

Conquest Lab is strongest when it has both successful and failed tests. Wins reveal workable structures; losses reveal false assumptions, counter relationships, and power walls. A submission becomes useful only when the exact positions and outcome can be understood.

Information every battle needs

  • Conquest stage or Arena battle mode.
  • Your five heroes in exact left-to-right positions.
  • The enemy heroes in exact left-to-right positions when visible.
  • Your power and enemy power.
  • Win or loss.
  • How many of your heroes remained after a win.
  • Optional date or game version.
  • Optional display name or saved submission reference.

Record positions, not only hero names

A list of five heroes without slots can be misleading. Alcar facing Amadeus in the same front lane is different from Alcar being placed across the formation. Back left also supports a different opening target than back middle or back right.

Left to right means exactly this

Front left, front right, back left, back middle, back right.

Record the full outcome

A one-hero win and a five-hero win are not equally useful. Heroes remaining helps distinguish a narrow formation success from an overpowered or instant result. Losses should be submitted with zero heroes remaining unless the interface reports something different.

Notes that improve review

  • A deliberate position swap.
  • A one-hero substitution.
  • Major widget or gear differences.
  • Repeated attempts with the same formation.
  • A skill that failed to cast before death.
  • An unusual melee cavalry path into the back row.
  • Anything that makes the battle non-comparable.

Privacy and manual review

Submissions enter a separate review sheet and do not automatically change recommendations. Raw rows, powers, exact ratios, and complete private team lists are not published.

Save the submission reference if you may need support or removal later. A display name is optional, but without a display name or reference number the project may be unable to identify the row as yours.

Submission quality checklist

  • Real battle, not a guessed lineup.
  • Correct mode.
  • Correct left-to-right positions.
  • Accurate powers.
  • Accurate result and heroes remaining.
  • No duplicated row unless it represents a separate attempt.
  • Context added when the test was unusual.

Conquest conclusions use the current raw Conquest Lab dataset. Arena conclusions are preliminary projections unless a section explicitly says otherwise. Exact private rows, lineups, powers, and ratios are not published.
