About the project

Research tools built from helping players.

Conquest Lab turns reviewed Kingshot battle data and gameplay observations into hero information, team tools, and practical Conquest and Arena guidance.

The project

What Conquest Lab is

Conquest Lab is a website and research tool built to help Kingshot players progress in Conquest and Arena.

It combines updated hero information, gameplay-observed hero roles, reviewed battle records, roster-aware recommendations, comparison tools, and original guides. The goal is to explain not only which heroes exist, but how they are actually used in five-position battles.

Hero data

Conquest skills, Expedition effects, base stats, generations, roles, and exclusive gear.

Conquest tools

Stage coverage, roster-aware teams, tested alternatives, and clearly labeled experiments.

Arena research

PvP submissions collected for future defense counters, matchup analysis, and formation guidance.

Original guides

Practical explanations for positions, testing, hero utility, Conquest progression, and Arena play.

The origin

Why I created it

I developed a strong understanding of Conquest early in the game and regularly helped other players with stages, formations, positions, and hero choices.

As more people began asking for help, I started saving battle results and matchup information. The saved data made it easier to remember what had worked, improve my own decisions, and give other players more consistent answers.

What began as personal notes gradually became a larger data project and then Conquest Lab. It has remained a fun project centered on testing teams, studying hero interactions, and helping the Kingshot community.

Evidence levels

How recommendations are generated

The recommender considers reviewed battle records, stage information, enemy formations, player-owned heroes, position tendencies, gameplay-observed utility tags, and the strength of the available evidence.

Known winning team

The exact five-hero formation has trustworthy winning evidence for that stage.

Tested alternative

The formation is supported by same-enemy, nearby-stage, or other reviewed battle evidence.

Experimental recommendation

An unverified utility-based substitution intended for testing. It is never presented as a guaranteed or recorded win.

Community submissions do not change recommendations automatically. They enter a manual review queue and may be corrected, rejected, marked as duplicates, or excluded before entering the verified dataset.

Community research

Built from testing and review

Alternate wins, losses, lower-power victories, and controlled hero substitutions can all help reveal which utilities matter in a matchup. Raw records and complete private datasets are not publicly exposed.
